Liftmaster Gate Information
Our transition to the LiftMaster gate system is nearly complete! Thank you for your patience during this process.
Stickers to Replace Clickers
The new RFID readers are installed at the resident entry gates on both Palmer and Lorraine Roads. Residents will receive a sticker for each of their own vehicles, up to 2. Stickers can be placed on windshields or front headlights and will automatically raise the resident-only gates. The gate won’t need to come down after each car if the following car also has a sticker, reducing the line to enter. For a short time, the clickers may work but they won’t be supported and no more will be issued. If you want additional stickers for cars for residents who live in your home, they will be $25 and can be requested through the general HOA email, [email protected].
Residence Directory & Personal (PIN) Entry Codes for the Visitor Gate
Every entry in the LiftMaster entry gate system has a unique code called the “Directory Code,” and is used to go quickly to the resident’s name to call the resident for entry. You may elect to have one or two entries per household. Guests select “Phone Call” on the initial visitor gate touch screen. Guests would then select “I Have a Directory Code” and after they enter it the system will dial the associated phone number. Once you answer and determine the guest is legitimate, pressing “9” on your phone will open the gate. If you don’t give out your phone code, the guest can select “Find a Name,” and either scroll or key in your name to select it and that will initiate the call to your phone.
Residents can request a Personal (PIN) “Entry Code” that can be used at the visitor gate for entry. To use this code, on the initial touchpad screen, select “Entry Code” and type in the 4-digit code and the gate will open. You can give your personal Entry Code to known guests, such as family and friends who visit often, and they can enter without calling you. It is recommended you give this when you might not be by your phone to allow entry, and you trust the guest. You are responsible for those who enter using any of your codes. If you would a personal code, email [email protected] to request one.
