Board Transition Information
The Board has appointed a new legal firm, Mechanik, Nuccio Hearne & Wester, headquartered in Tampa, Florida. They will represent us in all matters pertaining to daily operations of Barton Farms Association, Inc. dba Laurel Lakes.
We have reached the mandated number of homes in Laurel Lakes which requires the developer and interim board to plan for an orderly transition of control. The law firm has a group dedicated to HOA business laws and requirements and during the next few weeks and months we will rely on their judgement and expertise to guide us thru this transition.
In a mailing that will be sent to all home owners from Argus Management, it will formally announce plans for a turnover meeting and election of a new board members. We have also posted this information on our web site. We are encouraging all homeowners to participate in the process.
