ARC AMENDED Violation Notice Policy with APPEAL AND HEARING

Laurel Lakes ARC Violation, Fines/Suspension Appeals, and Hearing Policy 2018 (Amended 04-2019)

 NEW Amended VIOLATION PROCESS: The violation process is being changed over the next month, new letters will be sent we will be going to a 30,60,90 and 120 day Violation and Appeal Notice Process which is the standard used by other Associations within the State of Florida. As always, members will get their first notice as a "Friendly Reminder" and a new curing period of 30 days instead of the 14 days that are currently identified in the letters.  There will be an Appeal process stated in the letters and the reply email address has changed.  Fines will be assessed after the first 30 days if a cure has not been completed based on the violation.  The Board feels that the old process did not give enough reasonable time for a cure due to members leaving the community for extended periods of time.  The Architectural Standards Committee (ARC), facilitated by Peter Spalthoff (BOD Director) will continue to review the neighborhood for violations and we ask that if you have an issue to please contact us to help get it resolved.  CLick the icon to the left to get a copy of the 2018 Violation and Appeal Policy.
